I love wearing blush! All it takes is just a little to brighten up your face! I have had a hard time finding a product that will last all day long and not just rub off after a few hours. One of my friends told me about Maybelline Dream Bouncy blush and said I had to try it. I finally bought some last week and I LOVE it! I love how smoothly it goes on and that it lasts my whole day! My heart.

I just wanted to share something that my husband created. I couldn’t be more proud of him. He recently wrote this book “The Threat:  A Guidebook for the Young in Faith,” and now it is for sale on Amazon.com. One thing you must know about my husband is that he is one of the most persistent people I know. He felt like he should write this book and did not stop until he was finished. Tired Eyes

Some nights I don’t get as much sleep as I need and therefore I wake up with some tired eyes. ;) I like to put on a little concealer under my eyes to help with this issue. I recently bought some Physicians Formula Mineral make up that came with a little tube of concealer. I love how well it works! I have tried many different kinds of concealer, and this stuff really works. It hides the dark circles without looking “cakey” under your eyes. Give it a try!

Five Friday Favorites!

It’s Friday again, I bet you are about as happy about that as I am! ;)

1. As I’m sure you are well aware, I love painting my nails! Some times I am more creative than others, but I like trying new things and new designs.

2. A few months ago my husband and I finally decided to paint our room and do a little updating. We went with a deep blue shade on our walls and we wanted all white linens. I picked up all the pieces of our wall art above our bed at different places. A few pieces I already had, some were from one of my favorite places Hobby Lobby, and even Big Lots of all places! Our bedroom was in need of a face lift and it makes it a little sweeter to come home to now. :)

3. I LOVE frozen yogurt. The best place around that I have tried is called Red Mango. If you have one in your area, you HAVE to try it! Sooo good! I love that I can make a healthier choice with frozen yogurt and it still tastes so good!

I love Burt’s Bees products. I know Burt’s Bees best by their awesome chap stick; nothing soothes my chapped lips quite like Burt’s Bees. I’ve been noticing in stores a new brand on the shelves, Gud, and when I looked closer I noticed it was made by Burt’s Bees. Sweet Feet.

The last couple of cold days have me hoping summer will hurry up and get here! I can’t wait to ditch the thick socks, sweaters, scarves, gloves, and coats. I want to slip my feet in these super cute Bouie boat shoes made by Steve Madden. They come in gold, navy, and taupe and would be great with a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. I can’t wait to buy a pair!  :)
